Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. No experience required, we will train within. We are looking to hire both a lead teacher and a coteacher/assistant teacher for the fall 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, will love working in Christian ministry, and be dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide fun, hands-on activities that help the child to grow physically, cognitively, socially, emotionally, and spiritually
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
  • Manage classroom activities effectively to promote engagement and learning
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behavior
  • Support Christian Education themes in the classroom that correspond with lessons being learned during daily chapel time
Qualifications:
  • Experience with young children through volunteering, church activities, on the job experience, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills, is a creative thinker who enjoys art activities, children's literature, and seeing the world through a child's eyes
  • Has a passion for teaching children about the Bible and how much they are loved by Jesus
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues Enjoy summers and holidays with your loved ones; our school year is made around the local school districts' calendars.
