Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant educational team! In this rewarding role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster early childhood development, literacy, math skills, and social-emotional growth. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy education, math activities, and behavior management strategies Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and safe environment for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers Help facilitate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and emotional well-being Support classroom organization Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to education Assist in documenting student progress and behavior for ongoing assessment and curriculum development Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred but not required Knowledge of early childhood education principles such as Montessori or Toddler care is a plus Familiarity with special education needs, including working with individuals with autism or disabilities, is highly desirable Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Ability to implement lesson plans focused on literacy education, math skills, and behavior management techniques Understanding of classroom management strategies to foster a positive learning environment Experience with curriculum development or working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous Passion for working with children and supporting their growth through engaging activities Join us as an Assistant Teacher and be part of an inspiring team dedicated to nurturing the next generation! Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
