Iowa Park CISD Bradford Elementary is seeking a library paraprofessional to support students and staff with library services, promotes literacy, manages library materials.Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily library operations and circulation of materials. Check books and other resources in and out using the library management system. Shelve, organize, and inventory books and library materials. Help students locate books, research materials, and technology resources. Support classroom visits and literacy activities. Process new books, repair damaged materials, and remove outdated resources. Supervise students in the library while maintaining a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment. Assist with technology, including computers, printers, and educational devices used in the library. Collaborate with teachers and staff to support curriculum-related library activities. Maintain accurate records and assist with library reports and inventory. Encourage positive student behavior and foster a love of reading and lifelong learning. Perform other duties as assigned by the librarian or school administration.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with children preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and staff. Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn library management software.
