The paraprofessional assists with implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing academic, behavioral, and functional support, and helping students develop independence. Essential Duties Assist the teacher in implementing IEP accommodations, modifications, and goals. Provide one-on-one and small-group instructional support to students. Assist students with daily living skills, personal care, feeding, toileting, or mobility when required. Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, recess, and field trips. Prepare instructional materials and maintain classroom organization. Maintain confidentiality of student records and information. Perform other duties as assigned by the teacher or campus administrator. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Ability to work with students with diverse disabilities.
