Position:

Aide, ISS (In-School Suspension)

Location:

Jennie Reid Elementary Assist the teacher(s) in the preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Assist in the implementation of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management and instruction. Work with individual students or small groups to conduct instructional exercises assigned by teacher(s). Work under the general supervision of the principal and the immediate direction of a certified teacher. Job Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Valid SBEC Educational Aide certificate Associate's Degree or 48 or more college hours or NCLB ParaEducator Certification issued by San Jacinto College or other local educational entity Other Information Apply online, including your resume and letter of interest. Three references must be provided and must include your current building principal or supervisor. The district contributes $400/monthly to the cost of "employee-only" health insurance which is $175/monthly greater than the state required amount of $225/monthly.
