In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster developmental growth, social skills, and a love for learning among preschoolers and toddlers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote childhood development and early learning skills. Support children during activities such as playtime, snack time, nap time, and educational exercises, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and gentle guidance, encouraging respectful interactions among children. Supervise children closely to ensure safety, especially during outdoor play and transitions between activities. Support with diapering, infant care, toddler care, and basic first aid when necessary to ensure health standards are maintained. Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive environment that accommodates children with disabilities or special needs. Maintain cleanliness of the classroom, toys, and equipment to promote a healthy learning environment. Skills Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar caregiving roles. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively through positive discipline techniques. Familiarity with first aid procedures and the ability to respond calmly in emergency situations. Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members effectively. Compassionate attitude with a genuine passion for nurturing young learners' growth and development. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
