POSITION Nail Technology Instructor Assistant
JOB TYPE

RESPONSIBILITIES
We seek a Nail Technology Instructor Assistant to facilitate instruction and help lead and teach our growing student body. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Teach, mentor, motivate, and coach all Future Professionals on the clinic floor and classroom, and create extraordinary learning experiences using a TPCA-approved curriculum Prepare students to pass the State Board exam Ensuring compliance with State Board rules Participate in various administrative duties, including, but not limited to, attending faculty meetings, accurately recording grades and attendance, and facilitating student advisement Assist management with driving retention and completion rates Participating in professional development training Maintain professional integrity and a strong commitment to continuing education Be available to provide student tutoring Promote your school and program
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required Active Manicurist or Cosmetology Operator License
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of Texas Cosmetology School license procedures Minimum of 1-2 years of behind-the-chair experience Prior teaching experience preferred Strong organizational skills Passion for student-centered learning and student success Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Computer skills necessary
