Job Description

Job Title Special Program Aid

•Stagehand (FPA) Agency Texas A&M International University Department Dept, Fine & Performing Arts Proposed Minimum Salary $15.00 hourly Job Location Laredo, Texas Job Type Temporary/Casual Staff (Fixed Term) Job Description Job Summary Assist the department with a variety of backstage tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with moving, setting up, and testing lighting. Assist with sound, props, and performing a variety of backstage tasks. Assist performers and wardrobe changes and other miscellaneous tasks. This document represents the major duties, responsibilities, and authorities of this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and functions. Other duties may be assigned. Minimum Requirements Education

•High School Diploma or GED. Experience

•Some stagehand experience required. May not be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at Texas A&M International University.

Knowledge of:

Word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Audio & Visual equipment Ability to: Multitask and work cooperatively with others. Verbal and written communication skills. Be able to work under time sensitive constraints. Physical Requirements

•General office environment (repetitive movement, standing, walking, pushing, pulling and moderate to heavy lifting) The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Position requires maintaining a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace. Position requires working evening and/or weekends hours. Position requires keeping a work schedule of 19 hours per week.

Pay of Rate :

$15.00/hour for up to 19 hours weekly
