Job Description

Job Summary (Full-time, M-F, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm) We are seeking a passionate and energetic Assistant Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored to developmental needs. Your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire young learners, foster their curiosity, and promote their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum plans and activities that promote early literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning for toddlers and/or preschool. Support the lead teacher and/or director in managing the classroom. Assist with daily activities like feeding and diapering, guide play, and provide one-on-one attention as needed. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive, structured environment that encourages children's independence and cooperation Engage children in meaningful activities that stimulate curiosity, creativity, and learning through play-based methods. Assist lead teacher in monitoring and documenting each child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Help children develop social skills and navigate emotions by reinforcing positive behavior and classroom rules. Collaborate with lead teacher to prepare educational materials and classroom setup that's aligned with early childhood education standards. Ensure safety protocols are followed consistently to maintain a secure childcare environment Skills Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating leadership qualities as an assistant lead. Experience working in a daycare or school classroom environment. Pay:
$10.25 - $11.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
