In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and overall child development. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage daily routines such as circle time, snack time, outdoor play, and rest periods with professionalism and care. Use effective behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions among children. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns in a clear and compassionate manner. Document child development progress through observations, assessments, when applicable. Collaborate with colleagues to execute lessons that integrate childhood development principles and meet educational standards. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records related to child welfare and safety. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities related to curriculum development, milestone development, and other relevant areas. Skills Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork within the classroom setting. Ability to implement classroom routines efficiently while fostering a warm learning environment. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols such as first aid and CPR certification. familiarity with childhood development milestones is preferred. Skills in teaching physical education activities that promote motor skills development among young children. enthusiasm for working with toddlers or preschoolers is essential.
