The Betty M. Condra School for Dyslexia Success is seeking an Elementary Teacher's Aide to assist our Teacher's with our students to reach their full potential.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE

A High School Diploma or GED. The applicant must pass a Background Check. It is a necessity that this person shows up to work consistently with a good attitude and has experience working with Children in a teaching/learning environment. We would prefer the applicant to be someone who has their Texas Paraprofessional Certification but it is not necessary. The right candidate will have a passion for working with young children and be able to work in a team. Our Teacher's Aides assist the Teacher by helping the children accomplish the goals in problem solving, reading and writing. We at The Condra School work in teams with our fellow grade level teachers, aides and parents of our students. We expect this person to attend weekly grade level meetings, assist the grade level teacher with implementation of the lessons to the children for that week and relay back to the teacher any concerns they have for the success and well being of the children. Make certain that the academic requirements and goals meet the need of each child; Collaborate with teachers and staff on student behavior management; Attend IEP (ARD) and 504 meetings as requested Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement and develop strategies to address needs; Collaborate with other teachers to serve the needs of students; Plan lessons with head teacher in accordance with the TEKS and student needs; Perform other duties as assigned We are looking forward to accepting the right applicant to join our team of great educators at The Betty M.
