Our ideal candidate will have a love for working with young children and have a commitment to fostering their growth and development. As a Teacher or Assistant, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning through play, exploration, and creativity. You will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curriculum that supports children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Responsibilities Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Foster positive relationships with children, providing individualized attention to support their unique needs. Monitor children's progress and development, maintaining accurate records of their achievements. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Assist infants and toddlers with diaper changes, toilet training, or changing clothes whenever needed. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development. Requirements Previous experience in preschool, nannying, caregiving, daycare, or as a babysitter is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. First aid certification is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain it is necessary. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning through play. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children are essential traits.
