Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional growth tailored to preschool-aged children. Lead engaging lessons and activities that support child development milestones and encourage active participation. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies to create a safe and nurturing environment. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong home-school connections. Support children with special needs through early intervention strategies and individualized instruction aligned with childhood development principles. Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, maintaining first aid and CPR certifications, and following health protocols. Collaborate with colleagues to plan classroom activities, assess student progress through standardized testing when appropriate, and maintain organized records of child welfare and development. Requirements We Prefer Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, especially within preschool or toddler care environments. Knowledge of early childhood education practices including curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention methods, and childhood development instruction. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in mandated reporting laws is essential. Demonstrated ability to create inclusive learning environments that support child welfare and promote positive social interactions.
