Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full time Teachers Aide for our school, to join our Christian Academy. The ideal candidates will be responsible for supporting the lead teacher in classroom management, instructional support, and student supervision. We are looking for someone who genuienly loves working with young children and wants to be a part of a Christ centered, nurturing, and team oriented environment. Our aides play an important role in helping create a safe, loving classroom where children can learn, grow, and feel cared for each day. Responsibilities Assist the teacher with daily care, supervision, and instruction of children Provide teacher breaks Help with daily routines including arrival, meals and snacks, diapering/toileting, nap/rest time, transitions, and dismissal Work cooperatively with the classroom team and be willing to step in wherever needed to support the children and school Assist with classroom organization, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining a neat learning environment Be proactive and willing to assist with all aspects of the classroom, recognizing that the primary responsibility is the safety, care, and well being of the children Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating patience, kindness, responsibility, and a genuine love for children Experience Experience working with children in childcare is preferred, but not a necessity. A love of children and teaching them new skills Must be 18 years old and a high school diploma/GED Why TLA?
