In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants, supporting their growth and curiosity. Whether you're leading activities or assisting with daily routines, your energy and dedication will foster a loving atmosphere that encourages infants to explore, learn, and thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in early childhood education while making a positive impact on families and little ones alike. Duties Provide attentive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring their safety at all times Support infants' developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities focused on sensory exploration, motor skills, and social-emotional growth Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes safety and comfort for infants and staff Assist in implementing curriculum plans that stimulate curiosity and support early childhood development principles Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, routines, and any concerns Follow all health and safety protocols diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary Collaborate with team members to manage classroom routines and behavior management strategies effectively Experience Prior experience working with infants in a daycare, preschool, or nannying setting is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development stages and best practices in infant care is essential Classroom management skills tailored to the needs of very young children are important Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hiring Familiarity with early childhood education techniques such as sensory play and developmental assessments is advantageous Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with children, caregivers, and team members in a nurturing environment
Pay:
$13.00 - $16.00 per hour
