In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and structured Montessori environment that promotes independence, curiosity, and a love for learning among young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a positive classroom atmosphere where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing Montessori-based lesson plans that focus on literacy, math, practical life skills, and sensory activities. Support individualized instruction tailored to each child's developmental needs, including working with children with autism or disabilities. Maintain a well-organized classroom environment that encourages independence, exploration, and respect for materials. Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies. Supervise children during activities, transitions, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety at all times. Collaborate with teachers to develop curriculum materials and adapt lesson plans for diverse learning styles. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and developmental milestones in a professional manner. Qualifications Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred. Knowledge of Montessori principles, early childhood development, and childhood education best practices. Familiarity with special education techniques and working with individuals with autism or disabilities is a plus. Strong classroom management skills combined with excellent communication abilities. Ability to plan engaging lessons focused on literacy education, math skills, and overall curriculum development. Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working with children of various ages including toddlers and preschoolers. Certification or coursework in early childhood education or special education is advantageous but not mandatory.
