Our client is seeking Paraprofessionals for schools in the Fort Worth, TX area. Up to $20/hr depending on qualifications and classroom experience. The Paraprofessional will provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of the teacher. Assist in preparing, conducting, and managing of classroom activities.FAST STARTS!
SUMMARYOF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Helps prepare, collect and set-up materials for student participation, following teacher direction.
- Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
- Assist with administration and scoring of objective testing instruments or work assignments.
- Help supervise students throughout school day, inside and outside classroom. This includes lunchroom, bus, and outside duty.
- Make teacher aware of special needs or problems of individual students.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE/COMPENSATION
- Experience working with children with special needs required
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Some experience working with children
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with others
- $18/hr-$20/hr Depending on qualifications and classroom experience.
