Job Description
Blooming Minds Montessori is looking for a loving, dependable, and enthusiastic Co-Teacher to join our Nido classroom! Our Nido program serves children 0-18 months old in a nurturing Montessori environment designed to support each child's individual development, independence, and natural curiosity.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-3:30PM Break:
30-minute break each dayStarting Pay:
$16.00/hour About the Position As a Nido Co-Teacher, you will work alongside our teaching team to provide a safe, warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for our youngest learners. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves working with babies and young toddlers and understands the patience, attentiveness, and flexibility this age group requires.Responsibilities include:
Providing loving, responsive care for infants and young toddlers Feeding bottles and meals according to each child's individual needs and schedule Diapering and assisting with other daily care routines Supporting naps and individual sleep schedules Implementing Montessori principles and curriculum within the classroom Preparing and facilitating developmentally appropriate Montessori activities Engaging children in circle time, songs, stories, sensory experiences, and language-rich interactions Supervising and participating in daily outdoor play Encouraging independence, freedom of movement, exploration, and age-appropriate social development Maintaining a clean, organized, beautiful, and safe classroom environment Communicating and working closely with fellow teachers and administration Being flexible and willing to help wherever needed to support the classroom and school We're Looking forSomeone Who:
Has previous infant and/or toddler experience Has Montessori experience or knowledge preferred, but not required — we are happy to train the right person! Has a positive attitude and brings good energy into the classroom Is dependable, patient, nurturing, and attentive Works well as part of a team Is flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of babies and young children Is eager to learn and grow as an early childhood educator Most importantly, has a deep and genuine love for children Our Nido classroom is a special environment where babies are given the time, space, and support to develop at their own individual pace. We are looking for someone who will become a consistent, loving presence in their days and a supportive member of our teaching team.
