08/21/2026 25-Hours Per Week South Hills Middle School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructional Assistant to support students with special education needs, particularly those with severe disabilities. This position is integral to our commitment to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. Must complete Basic Training (5 hours) provided by JSD Special Education Department. Training must be completed within one week of hire as a condition of employment. Additional 40 hours of training is available through the Special Education department allowing the employee to increase to lane 5 upon completion. Training must be completed within six (6) months from hire date as a condition of employment. Job Description Effective July 1, 2025 Lane 4 Step 1 ($20.92/Hour) Salary Schedules
