Monday - Friday, 8:45am - 1:30pm Linton Hall School is seeking a dedicated Instructional Assistant to join our school grounded in Benedictine values. The ideal candidate will provide support to teachers in a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the classroom. Essential Job Functions Assists with instruction and supervision of lessons or play Encourages appropriate behavior and participation during class time and events Monitors lunch and recess times as scheduled Gives individual assistance to students when appropriate in support of the lesson or activity Assists with clerical needs, routines of the school day, and all necessary cleanup Interacts with parents, administration, co-workers, and school community in a manner that is professional and reflective of the charism of the Benedictine Sisters of VA Minimum Qualifications/Requirements High School Diploma Bachelor's Degree preferred Organizational Values Linton Hall School is a ministry of the Benedictine Sisters of Virginia (BSV) and as such supports our mission to provide Catholic educational experiences that empower students to master academic skills, to develop a sense of self-worth and integrity, and to learn to live effectively and responsibly with others.
