Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children. Your enthusiasm for working with children, combined with your understanding of childhood development and classroom management, will help foster a positive educational experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young learners while gaining valuable classroom experience. Duties Support children's social, emotional, and behavioral development through positive guidance and behavior management techniques Help supervise classroom activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and exploration Provide basic childcare support such as diapering and care as needed Support classroom organization by preparing materials and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards Observe and document children's progress to inform teaching strategies and communicate with parents or guardians when appropriate Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and implement behavior management strategies First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers and children Flexibility to support various caregiving tasks including toddler care and preschool activities Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners!
