Preschool Assistant / Co-Teacher Full-Time | Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Learn 'n Play Preschool is hiring an energetic, dependable Assistant Teacher to join our play-based, nature-inspired program. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a veteran lead teacher and grow your skills in a supportive, hands-on classroom. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, stays engaged throughout the day, and genuinely enjoys working with young children in an active environment. What You'll Do Support the lead teacher in a classroom of up to 20 three-year-olds Ensure constant supervision and maintain a safe environment Engage children in play-based, hands-on learning (indoors and outdoors) Assist with positive behavior management and classroom routines Help maintain a clean, organized classroom Step in proactively—this role requires awareness, initiative, and teamwork What We're Looking For High energy and stamina (this is a physically and mentally active role) Self-starter with strong initiative—you don't wait to be told what to do Genuine enjoyment of working with young children Interest in outdoor learning, creativity, and play-based education Strong reliability and teamwork Preferred Prior experience working with young children in daycare or preschool settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of early childhood development principles and classroom management techniques. Ability to maintain a positive attitude while managing multiple responsibilities in a lively classroom environment. Certification or coursework in childhood education or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory. Why Learn 'n Play? Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
