Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Toddler Teacher Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help nurture the youngest learners in a dynamic classroom environment. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating engaging, safe, and developmentally appropriate activities that promote early childhood growth. Your positive energy and commitment will inspire curiosity and joy in toddlers as they explore their world and develop essential skills for future success. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives while gaining valuable classroom experience. Duties Assist lead teachers with implementing daily lesson plans focused on literacy, math, and social-emotional development tailored for toddlers Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, clean, and organized learning environment conducive to active exploration Engage with children through play-based activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and early learning skills Help monitor individual needs of children, including those with special education requirements or disabilities such as autism or other developmental delays Support behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation among children Aid in preparing classroom materials and educational resources aligned with curriculum development standards like Montessori or preschool frameworks Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's growth and well-being Skills Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones Experience working with toddlers in daycare, preschool, or private school settings Knowledge of classroom management techniques suitable for young children Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education strategies Ability to work effectively with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or behavior management support Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and colleagues Hands-on experience with Rehhio Emilia methods or other preschool educational approaches is a plus Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes social-emotional growth and early learning success Join us in shaping the future by supporting our youngest learners! Pay:
$12.50 - $14.50 per hour
