Toddler Teacher Assistant

Duties Assist lead teachers with implementing daily lesson plans focused on literacy, math, and social-emotional development tailored for toddlers Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, clean, and organized learning environment conducive to active exploration Engage with children through play-based activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and early learning skills Help monitor individual needs of children, including those with special education requirements or disabilities such as autism or other developmental delays Support behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation among children Aid in preparing classroom materials and educational resources aligned with curriculum development standards like Montessori or preschool frameworks Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's growth and well-being Skills Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones Experience working with toddlers in daycare, preschool, or private school settings Knowledge of classroom management techniques suitable for young children Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education strategies Ability to work effectively with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or behavior management support Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and colleagues Hands-on experience with Rehhio Emilia methods or other preschool educational approaches is a plus Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes social-emotional growth and early learning success Join us in shaping the future by supporting our youngest learners! Pay:

$12.50 - $14.50 per hour
