SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Teaching Assistant is primarily responsible for working one-on-one with a child with an identified disability, in an educational setting. The ability to follow directions and maintain a professional demeanor at all times is critical for this position.
ESSENTIAL
DUTIES and
RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements all lesson plans as outlined by Licensed Teacher. Assist with implementing Individualized Service Plans with clients under the classroom teacher's direction. Coordinate with other service providers, staff, or families to encourage consistency among client families/caregivers and all providers. Complete all required documentation including daily parent communication logs, behavioral data, daily notes, and monthly reports in an accurate and timely manner. Develop program materials and ensure appropriate materials are available for assigned clients. Attend and participate in all scheduled staff meetings and trainings. Adhere to all policies and procedures and complete other tasks deemed necessary for the successful operation of the program. Maintain professional and ethical standards at all times. About the
