  • Friday from 9:00 am
  • 6:00 pm.
This person would be an Assistant Teacher in one of our 3-year old classrooms. Pay is dependent on experience and education. The Neighborhood Learning Center serves children from infant through 5th grade and we are an active, friendly, FUN place to work! In 2024, 2025, AND 2026, we were the WINNER of Best of Loudoun for Best Child Care Center! Almost half our staff have worked here over 5 years! We are also a Subsidy Provider and a member of VQB5! What You'll Do Help Lead Teacher with lesson plan implementation : Implement lessons and activities that focus on different areas of development Teach basic skills : Help children learn colors, shapes, numbers, and letters Support children's development : Help children reach developmental milestones and build self-esteem Help manage the classroom : Maintain routines, supervise children, and help keep a clean classroom Communicate with parents : Discuss children's daily experiences with parents Provide positive discipline : Use positive guidance and discipline to help children learn proper behavior, under the supervision of the Lead Teacher Requirements At least 18 years old Willing to learn and be trained Enjoys working as part of a team Reliable transportation Able to bend, twist, sit on the floor, and lift up to 30 pounds Energy and enthusiasm, and a sense of fun!
