JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the daily supervision and management of a primary care group of 4 to 10 children ages birth to five Plans, implements and supervises the daily program for the class in accordance with the philosophy of LeafSpring School. Incorporates principles of age appropriate growth and development and developmentally appropriate practice in daily lesson plans.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR

: Must be 18 years of age. High school diploma and one year of experience to be considered for an Assistant Teacher position. Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or other related field with two years of experience to be considered for a Lead Teacher position. Must possess a love for children and an ability to relate well with them, their families, and teachers. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or other related field with one year experience. Montessori, Reggio-Emillio, teaching practicums, and educator-based internships will be considered as valuable experience. As well as the fundamental experience of summer counseling, nannying, daycare and babysitting. We want to see teachers who are passionate about their craft and love children.
