Immediately Job Description Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has an opportunity for a full-time Individual Assistant to support an intensive special needs student enrolled at Essex Elementary School. Candidates with prior medical assistance or nursing experience are encouraged to apply! This position is also fantastic for candidates interested in a medical assistant career and seeking an opportunity to grow and build their skills. Primary job duties include but are not limited to, the following: Implement the program developed by the IEP team. Assist in the informal assessments to determine student progress and needs. Participate in various community activities and field trips with students. Assist students as needed with toileting, eating, wheelchair transport, transfer, and other needs as identified by the student's specific plan.
