Aug 17, 2026 Job Description FWSU seeks a level 2 paraprofessional to work with students with intensive special needs in an educational setting, support the implementation of a student's individual educational program, and assist the assigned student(s) with self-care and communication with others using alternative or augmentative communication systems. This person will play a supportive role in assessing the progress and needs of the assigned student(s) and participate in developing and modifying individualized instructional materials and programs. The ideal candidate should have experience working with students with intensive special needs in an educational setting. We are looking for a team player with solid communication skills who will collaborate closely with the student's IEP team members. This is a Level 2 Paraprofessional position.
