Location:

Champlain Valley Union High School (CVU) is seeking energetic, skilled, and caring individuals to join our special education team as Non-Intensive Paraeducators starting the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidates will help create a welcoming, friendly, and growth-minded environment that ensures the best educational opportunities for all students. In this role, you will work closely with licensed professionals and staff to assist, supervise, and provide vital support to assigned students and groups, fostering their independence as they navigate high school life. Primary Responsibilities Supporting instructional activities (including behavioral instruction) developed and adjusted as required by a designated professional. Fostering student independence so that they can fully participate in all school and classroom activities. Collecting and sharing student data with the appropriate educational personnel. Communicating and collaborating effectively with staff, families, and related service providers to ensure instructional continuity. Providing support for students on bus routes and offering substitute coverage as assigned.
