Addison Central School DistrictParaprofessional-Anticipated Vacancies2026-2027Addison Central School District is seeking full-time Paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year for anticipated vacancies. These individuals will be working with small groups or individual students. The successful candidates must have strong communication and collaboration skills. and experience working with school age students. Responsibilities of the positions include providing instructional and social/emotional support to both individual students and small groups, collaborating with teachers to create inclusive and adaptive learning experiences, and helping supervise students during classroom, recess and/or lunch periods. Experience working with students with special needs is preferred. Willingness to contribute to a positive, student-centered, inclusive learning environment is a must.

Responsibilities for positions for individuals working one to one include assisting school teams with the implementation of intensive supports and services as described in the individual students plan. Essential characteristics of this position include: working 1:1 to support personal development, safety, behavior and access to academic programming, engaging in professional development/training related to the students educational needs, collecting data to support student progress, and responding to student needs with team-identified best practices. This position supports a student in all educational environments, including the classroom. Addison Central School District offers competitive wages.
