A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
These are school session positions, 6.5 hours a day, providing one-one-one support to students. Candidates must meet the districts requirements: minimum of 48 college credits; or successfully passing the Para Pro or Master Teacher assessment tests. Previous experience preferred.

Salary & Benefits:
As per Support Staff Negotiated Agreement.
