Aug 19, 2026 Job Description Newport Town School is a community of learners that fosters each person to be an active member of our community and demonstrate independence, respect, empathy, perseverance and problem-solving skills. This paraprofessional position consists of small group or 1:1 support. This is a school session position, up to 7 hours a day. Often, there are opportunities to earn additional wages through the After-School and Summer programs. Candidates must meet the district's requirements: minimum of 48 college credits or para-educator certificate and portfolio, or successfully passing the Para Pro or Master Teacher assessment tests. Approximate salary range between $20.35 and $23.00 an hour, depending on prior experience and education. Benefits per the support staff policy.
