Shelburne Community School (SCS) is seeking an energetic and caring Long-Term Substitute (LTS) General Education Paraeducator to join our middle-level (Grades 7-8) team. The anticipated start date for this role is April 27, 2026, and it will continue through the end of the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for a dedicated individual to provide vital support to our teachers and students within a collaborative environment of approximately 75 students and 6 adults. Primary Responsibilities Working directly with individual students and small groups both in and outside of the classroom to promote growth and foster independence. Assisting teachers with various projects and clerical work to ensure a smooth learning environment. Helping students stay on track as they transition between classrooms and different activities. Fulfilling daily lunch and recess duty requirements. Acting as a positive team member and strong collaborator within the 7th-8th grade middle-level team.
