9633509-98092 Job Description Step into a fulfilling contract position that offers the chance to directly support middle and high school students in their communication and educational growth. This role is designed for an individual interested in serving as a Speech Facilitator Paraprofessional, where youll collaborate closely with a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to bring critical support to students in a dynamic school environment.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting middle and high school students as they work on speech and language goals Facilitating meaningful sessions as directed by the virtual SLP Providing encouragement, structure, and guidance during student activities Preparing and organizing materials necessary for speech therapy sessions Documenting student progress according to established protocols Communicating observations and updates to the SLP and school staff Qualifications and desired experience: Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is a plus Experience in facilitation is preferred but not required; strong willingness to learn is valued Ability to work effectively with middle and high school students, demonstrating patience and understanding Comfortable with basic technology platforms to support virtual collaboration Commitment to 30 hours per week throughout the contract term This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference and supporting student achievement in language and communication.
