Our Early Learning Centers provide high-quality early childhood education that fosters curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Position Summary The Y's Barkley Early Learning Center is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Teachers to join our team. We have openings in various classrooms , including infant, toddler, and preschool age groups. Teachers will create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth for all children. Responsibilities Plan and implement daily activities aligned with YMCA curriculum and state standards. Foster a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment. Maintain open, positive communication with families, children, and staff. Ensure the health and safety of all children through active supervision and adherence to licensing regulations. Support children's individual needs and encourage positive behavior and self-help skills. Collaborate with co-teachers and center leadership to support program goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 18 years of age or older and a high school graduate (or equivalent). Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred. Ability to plan, organize and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities. Previous experience with diverse populations. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds. Current CPR (Adult, Infant & Child) and First Aid, AED certifications. Complete Praesidium Child Abuse prevention training within 15 days of hire.
