Duties Assist teachers in developing and implementing curriculum plans aligned with educational standards, including lesson planning for diverse learners. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment, managing behavior, and fostering respectful interactions among students. Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in core subjects such as math, literacy, and physical education to enhance student understanding and performance. Utilize learning technology and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress, facilitate assessments, and deliver instructional content effectively. Collaborate with teachers on student assessment strategies, analyzing performance data to inform targeted academic interventions within Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). Assist in creating inclusive learning experiences for students with disabilities or special education needs by adapting instructional materials and supporting individualized education plans (IEPs). Support early childhood education initiatives by engaging with preschool and toddler-aged children, promoting childhood development principles, and ensuring compliance with educational regulations. Requirements Prior experience working with children or students in classroom settings, including elementary school teaching experience or preschool care. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment-driven instruction techniques. Familiarity with learning technology platforms such as LMS systems and educational software. Experience working with students with disabilities or special education needs; understanding of behavior management strategies. Knowledge of early childhood education practices, childhood development milestones, and literacy education fundamentals. Ability to analyze student performance data for quantitative evaluation of progress and to inform instructional adjustments. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff. Demonstrated ability to implement academic interventions within a multi-tiered support framework effectively. Understanding of educational compliance standards, regulations, and best practices related to classroom instruction.
