Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
We are looking for incredible Assistant Teachers / Floaters who will work with the Lead Teachers in Toddlers, PreS, and Pre-K classes to create fun, loving, warm, and creative classrooms. Building Kidz is a preschool program specializing in performing arts to enhance academic excellence. Our curriculum & performing arts program is designed to challenge & engage children every step of the way.
Assistant Teachers should:
- Be able to help plan & implement daily lesson plans
- Able to communicate effectively
- Dependable & Dedicated
- Fun, warm, loving, nurturing & patient
- Able to multi-task and be a floater as and when necessary
- Creative & artistic
Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- GED or High School diploma
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- CPR, 1st Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens & Food Handlers certificate.
- 30 Basic STARS hours certificate
- Able to pass Criminal Background check
- Proof of Vaccination required
- Proof of work authorization
