This contract opportunity offers the chance to work 30 hours each week, providing essential support to both middle school and high school students. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students build communication skills and succeed in their academic journey.

Key Qualifications:

Experience working as a paraprofessional in school settings preferred Enthusiasm for supporting student learning and communication Ability to work as part of a collaborative team, including virtual service providers Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities Experience facilitating speech or related services is an asset, but not required Flexible mindset and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

Assist the virtual SLP in delivering speech and language services to students Provide support to students during speech sessions and reinforce targeted skills Maintain accurate session documentation and track progress in collaboration with the SLP Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families as needed Support classroom teachers in implementing speech-related accommodations Uphold school policies and confidentiality standards
