Bilingual Family Home Teacher Assistant/Aide (Mandarin/English)
Overview:
We are a bilingual family home child care program serving ages 3 months-4 years old. Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment, where children learn Mandarin and develop through play. As an assistant, you will work closely with the lead teacher to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate should meet the minimum qualifications with the ability and interest in getting the preferred qualifications. Why join us? Job Responsibility:
Build strong relationships with parents and children Assist in planning and executing lesson plans and activities Support children in their learning and social development Maintain continuous supervision of children Ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols in the environment
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older High School diploma or equivalent Bilingual in Mandarin and English Background Check via MERIT Negative TB test
Complete Child Care Basics Other Requirements:
Be able to complete the following training certificates: Blood Borne Pathogens Food Handlers Safe Sleep First Aid/CPR Maintain and document annual training and certifications as required by DCYF Maintain MERIT account and background checks
Preferred Qualifications:
ECE education or certification
