Must love to teach children, is patient, is a team player, flexible and quick on their feet, and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure our children get the best education possible. Hands on teaching style is a must. They must be able to lead a group of children (usually about 5 for every 1 teacher) in a lesson prepared by the lead teacher; assisting in meal prep, clean up, art, science, fine and gross motor skills, and
WORK AS A TEAM.
  • This is a great opportunity for those who are in school to become educators, and need mentoring or practicum hours.
Other teachers here are college educated and are heavily involved in the community! Must be 18 or older. Drivers must be 25 or older with clean driving record. College credits or a degree in education or early childhood education will result in higher pay. Must have childcare experience. This job is very structured and we pride ourselves on providing a great education and kindergarten preparation. Must be able to work with others in a small team, and with up to 20 preschoolers, aged 3-5 years old, adaptable to change is required. Also be able to work in our school age program on occasion. Pay starts at $18.00 per hour. Pay can be adjusted based on experience and qualifications. Hours needed are in the 7:00 am
  • 6pm range (hours are flexible and may change weekly and shifts vary).
There will be hours available in the summer. In the summer you would work with our school age program going on field trips, or you may be in the preschool daycare program which varies weekly. You will work across all domains. Background check, fingerprints, TB test, 30-hour stars training, CPR/First Aid/BBP, and food handlers card are required after hire. Clean "mom approved" appearance is a necessity for this position. 20-35 hours a week may lead into more hours.
FLEXIBILITY IS A MUST.
The hours are anywhere in the 7:30 am
  • 6pm range.
The first half of the day will be the preschoolers, and after school hours will consist of elementary children in one area and remaining preschoolers in another. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a strong commitment to nurturing young minds in a positive learning environment. ## Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
  • Create engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, numeracy, and social skills development
  • Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and behavior
  • Work with children with special needs, including those with autism spectrum disorder
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and classroom management strategies ## Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Previous experience working in a preschool, daycare, or private school setting
  • Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues effectively
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Ability to create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
