Joseph Cardinal Preschool Aide supports the lead preschool teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. This role involves assisting with classroom activities, supervising children, and helping maintain a positive, organized classroom that promotes social, spiritual, emotional, and academic growth. Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities, lessons, and learning centers Supervise children during classroom time, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Encourage positive behavior and model appropriate social skills Assist with preparing learning materials and classroom displays Observe children and report concerns or notable behaviors to the teacher Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations Communicate respectfully with teachers, staff, and families as directed High school diploma or equivalent Early childhood education experience preferred Ability to work well with young children and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
