POSITION
#339-CLS-09-26 Special Education Para- Transition Program 6 hours per day / 191 days per year
Salary:
$21.87- $24.
DESCRIPTION
Assist the Special Education instructor in creating a positive learning environment to facilitate the personal, social and intellectual development of students. Provide educational services to students in the special education program. This position may require one-on-one or resource room support. Other related duties as assigned.- Building locations subject to change based on student support needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum AA degree or equivalent or passed PRAXIS test required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required. Ability to make good decisions. Patient, flexible, self-motivated, good communication, teamwork, academic skills and positive social skills and a sense of humor. Ability to relate well to students, parents and staff. May require lifting, prolonged sitting or standing. Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position.PROCEDURE
