9689479-54806 Job Description Step into a valuable school-based role as a Paraprofessional, supporting students and collaborating with educators in a welcoming, inclusive middle school setting. This part-time contract position runs from now through June 4th, offering the opportunity to make a difference each week. Your efforts will help foster student success by working closely with a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and supporting a diverse caseload.

Key Qualifications:

Experience working with middle school students, preferably in educational or special education environments Familiarity with supporting Speech-Language Pathology services or a willingness to learn Strong communication and collaboration abilities Positive, patient, and proactive mindset Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions

What Youll Do:

Collaborate with a virtual SLP to deliver therapy and assist students with communication needs Provide hands-on classroom support, fostering an inclusive learning environment Assist students individually or in small groups with various activities, assignments, and therapeutic exercises Document observations and student progress as part of a dedicated support team Adapt to diverse student needs, helping implement individualized education plans (IEPs) where applicable Communicate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care and progress
