We are in need of a Teacher Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year at our Seymour, WI location. Teacher Assistants are an essential component in our UW Oshkosh Head Start classrooms. You will work closely with a teacher to support high quality early childhood programming for 17-19 children. You support in providing comprehensive education, family support and health services to assist the whole child and family in school readiness. Our program embraces the High/Scope curriculum, offers many professional development opportunities, and implements Pyramid Model and Conscious Discipline programs to support social/emotional development. EXPERIENCE

Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or degree in related field with experience working with preschool children. Extensive knowledge of child development, appropriate observation/assessment methods in early child development and demonstrated knowledge of implementing early childhood curriculum. Valid Wisconsin Driver's License. Successful completion of criminal background checks. Minimum Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) minimum requirement.

PREFERENCES

Experience in a Head Start program Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards and Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework Prior experience working with preschool ages children.
