Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Must meet all required qualifications and competency pursuant to W. Va. Code Due to the additional requirements for meeting ECCAT qualifications, overall seniority outside the classification may not be the determining factor when selecting the most qualified applicant. Preference shall be given in the following order: Those who currently hold an ECCAT classification and are employed as an ECCAT for Hardy County Schools (if multiple applicants fall within this category then selection will be based upon ECCAT seniority) Those employed by Hardy County Schools that previously held ECCAT Classification Those employed by Hardy County Schools as an Aide who have completed the requirements for ECCAT classification by date of posting (if multiple applications fall within this category, and no applicants fall within the categories listed above, then selection will based upon Aide seniority) Those employed by Hardy County Schools as an Aide who have not yet completed the requirements for ECCAT classification by date of posting, but are willing to complete said requirements for ECCAT classification that result in Pk

Additional Minimum Requirements:

Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration. Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration. Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration. Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.

Salary:

Based on the 2026-2027 salary scale commensurate with experience and education
