High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a Criteria Test Substitute Teacher Permit (or within 60 days from hire date)POSITION SUMMARY
To assist the teaching staff in supporting the learning programs for students in their designated educational environment.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reinforce educational concepts to individual students or groups of students using instructional objectives and lessons developed by the teacher. Assists with record keeping, grading, filing, and copying materials as needed. Assists in obtaining, organizing and using supplies, books, materials and equipment as assigned. Implement various levels of discipline in accordance with school district and building policies. Utilize computers, copiers, and other equipment in performance of duties. Attend training, in-service, and meeting as deemed appropriate. Recognize and follow accepted confidentiality of information regarding students and staff. Other duties as assigned.TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

Performance on this job will be evaluated by the Building Principal in accordance with school board policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of certified or classified personnel.SALARY SCHEDULE
This position will be paid according to the approved Classified Student Support Salary Schedule.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
