Job Description

These are temporary part-time positions working no more than 19 hours/week for the 2026-2027 school year only . Applicants must either be a certified teacher or have a high school diploma or

GED, AND 2

years of college OR have passed ALL portions of the Work Keys Test. Certified or non-certified individuals can be recommended for these positions. Certified part-time tutors will be paid at a$27.65 hourly rate ,and non-certified individuals will be at an $18.00 hourly rate. Please note that these individuals will only be paid at the certified rate if they have a current Alabama teaching certificate. If their teaching certificate has expired, they will be paid at the $18.00 hourly rate. The part-time tutors can NOT work more than 19 hours a week. These positions are for instructional purposes only, not clerical
