About us Grade Potential is a leading provider of personalized, in-person tutoring services nationwide. About the student 4th grade student The student needs to work with a tutor for support with English/ESL; specifically reading & writing. The family is asking for a tutor who is bilingual in Spanish & English. The student is a 4th grader. The student feels a bit behind when it comes to his ELA skills. He does not have a strong foundational knowledge and is looking to work with a tutor that can provide overall support and guidance. He needs homework/assignment help, concept overview, and test prep. He is a current Academic Status Student that is falling behind his peers in reading. The household's first language is Spanish, so they are needing extra reinforcement to stay at grade level when it comes to English. The goal is to get the student caught up to his classmates and have him performing at grade level. The family wants 1 hour sessions 1-2 times a week, between 3pm-6pm, any day Monday through Friday. The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Midfield not far from the Union Cemetery. The student also has a brother in 7th grade who is also looking for a tutor for ESL & 7th grade science for 1 hour sessions 1-2 times a week between 3pm-6pm any day Monday through Friday. Mom is open to 2 tutors but would love a single tutor for both students. Qualifications Ideal candidates have prior experience working with elementary students and ESL students. Ideal candidates will be bilingual in Spanish & English. Ideal candidates will have prior experience teaching/tutoring ESL. Ideal candidates will have a teaching certification. Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles) Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
Student Availability MON-FRI:
3:00pm-6:00pm Pay & Benefits $25.00- 30.00 per hour. Flexible schedule
