English Full Job Description Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English tutor for a 8th-grade Chinese boy. The tutor will be responsible for enhancing the student's English language skills, including reading, writing, and comprehension.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a personalized English curriculum tailored to the student's needs and learning pace. Conduct engaging and interactive tutoring sessions 4-5 times per week (negotiable), with each session lasting 2-4 hours (negotiable). Focus on improving the student's grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills. Provide regular feedback to the student and parents on progress and areas needing improvement. Foster a positive and motivating learning environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field. Previous experience tutoring middle school students, preferably with a focus on English language skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience and adaptability to cater to the student's learning style. Familiarity with the academic standards and requirements for 8th-grade English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching certification. Experience working with bilingual students or students from diverse backgrounds.
