Job Overview At Magnolia Learning, we are dedicated to providing excellent instruction to school-age children and young adults in the Los Angeles County area who are neurodivergent, have disabilities, and/or have learning differences. We employ a learning system with integrated behavior support to structure and scaffold skill building, whether those skills are academic, adaptive, or behavioral. Using a variety of tailored, evidence-based programs delivered with our unique compassionate approach, we believe every child can learn. We cover both academic subjects from Grades 1-5 and life skills topics typically acquired between ages 5-12, with the flexibility to adjust to a child's strengths and needs. We are currently hiring in-person tutors to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about creating brave and supportive learning spaces where they can empower children and young adults to view themselves as valued members of our community. We welcome qualified candidates from a variety of backgrounds, and will provide paid training, instructional materials, and all necessary equipment to ensure that you feel prepared to support our learners. Previous tutoring or classroom instruction experience is a plus, but not required. Bachelors degree required. Please note, hirees will be required to obtain a LiveScan and background check.

Required and paid at a rate of $20/hour

Instructional Pay:

$35-$42/hour (depending on experience) Scope of Work Provide 1:1 on-site instruction to learners between the ages of 7-12 Deliver engaging, structured lessons under the direction of Magnolia Learning methodology Record notes about learner performance, strengths, and growth edges Implement positive reinforcement strategies that center learners' needs and maximize their growth Communicate positively and professionally with learners and Magnolia Learning staff to create a safe and empowering learning environment.
